My History

I am a student of the Pedagogy career of the National and Foreign Languages. Throughout my learning I have learned about several pedagogues who made a change in education. My teachers instilled in me the values and principles to be able to perform a good environment in the classroom. In school my English teachers did their job in the best way encouraging and stimulating a better learning of the English language in the children.

My Pre-Teaching Philosophy

A teaching philosophy is a dynamic, personal compass reflecting one's educational beliefs, constantly evolving throughout a teaching career. Inspired by Jerome Bruner's transformative theories, my motivation lies in the power of education, emphasizing discovery learning, active engagement, and the cultural context of cognitive development.

Podcasts have become a popular and accessible way to improve listening skills, especially for language learners. They offer authentic, real-life conversations on a wide range of topics, helping listeners develop better comprehension, vocabulary, and pronunciation. By regularly listening to podcasts, learners can train their ears to understand different accents, speech speeds, and informal expressions. This makes podcasts a valuable tool for enhancing listening skills both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Increase cultural awareness

  • No visual support, which can make it harder to understand.
  • Some are too fast or advanced for beginners.

  • No chance for interaction or questions.

  • Can be distracting if used in noisy environments.

  • Not all are made for learning purposes.

Podcasts are digital audio programs that people can listen to on their phones, computers, or other devices. They have become a popular tool for learning languages, especially for improving listening skills. By listening to native speakers talk about various topics, learners can get used to natural pronunciation, rhythm, and vocabulary in context. Podcasts also help learners improve their comprehension and become more confident in understanding spoken language.
